Trident is a Washington, D.C.-based, boutique corporate/strategic communications, stakeholder management, and crisis firm that is looking for ambitious, hard-working talent to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Founded in 2016, Trident is a one-of-a-kind agency that pioneered the approach of combining media, political, and legal expertise in one team, managing some of the highest-profile crises of the past 30 years, from the White House to Wall Street to Silicon Valley and around the world. Our team members have worked in the White House, Congress, the national news media, global law firms, and corporations.

Trident seeks an Associate with a keen desire to develop professionally and work hard in serving clients on a range of matters critically important to them. This is Trident’s entry-level, full-time position, and the team member will work under the supervision of more senior team members to assist on a diverse range of accounts for both strategic and risk advisory clients.

Mission:
Assist in executing on the day-to-day activities of client accounts and projects spanning corporate/strategic, policy, litigation, investigations, and crisis communications as well as public affairs matters.

Role and Responsibilities Include:
• Media monitoring and analysis
• Research
• Build and maintain media lists and databases
• Project-management
• Media relations
• Draft messaging material, including pitches, press releases, bylines, messaging, and social content
• Support the team’s execution of day-to-day client work
• Be available for occasionally unpredictable hours for client crises and time-sensitive deadlines

Qualifications:
• 0-2 years of experience in a full-time communications position. Prior experience in communications interning at an agency or on Capitol Hill or campaigns
• Ability to manage work on multiple clients simultaneously while delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to thrive in a start-up environment and offer solutions to overcome challenges
• Strong writing and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
• A self-starter who’s energized by hard work, a drive to succeed for clients, and going the extra mile
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
