Sophie Axelrod is an Associate at Trident, working with companies spanning multiple sectors. She focuses on developing and executing strategic communications campaigns encompassing media relations, stakeholder engagement, research, and crisis communications.

A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Sophie graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in 2026 with degrees in Political Science and Psychology. At Tufts, she wrote and edited articles for the Features section of the Tufts Daily and worked at the Tufts University Admissions Office as a Tour Guide and Student Communications Group Member. Previously, Sophie interned with the public affairs firm Dewey Square Group in Boston, as well as worked as a Political and Organizing Fellow with the Massachusetts Democratic Party.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys cheering on Boston sports teams, traveling, and running. She ran the Boston Marathon in 2026 with the Tufts Marathon Team.
