Adrienne Petz is a Partner at Trident GMG and a senior advisor at Galper & Goldberg.

Adrienne counsels and advises C-Suite leaders and communications and legal executives to prepare for and during times of crisis, high-stakes litigation and other reputation challenges. Known for staying cool under pressure, Adrienne is a sought-after counsel for being highly effective in striking a delicate balance between the communications and legal worlds. She quickly assesses a situation, spots trends, and effectively mixes the big picture with the small details to bring about the right solution at the right time.

Adrienne is a widely recognized leader in the industry for programs she directed with multiple awards and honors, including for her work on behalf of the International Research & Exchanges Board that helped free a woman from an Iranian prison. She has authored numerous articles and presented on crisis and litigation communications topics and was named to Lawdragon’s Global 100 Leaders in 2023 and 2024.

Before Trident GMG, Adrienne spent more than 25 years at Edelman, the global communications consultancy, where she held many roles over her tenure, most recently as the U.S. Managing Director of Litigation Communications and Legal Affairs. She started her career on Capitol Hill, including serving as deputy communications director for the U. S. House of Representatives Committee on Science. Following her time at Edelman, Adrienne spent most of 2024 serving as Global Director of Crisis Communications at McDonald’s in addition to building her own boutique practice.

Adrienne brings superior knowledge and strategic judgment on a variety of risk-related issues including antitrust, business operations, class action lawsuits, consumer product recalls, corporate malfeasance, crisis preparation and risk mitigation, data security and privacy, government and congressional investigations, intellectual property rights, labor union corporate campaigns, transactional risk, and regulatory actions.

She works with clients across sectors and industries providing top-notch personalized service to companies and NGOs across all stages of growth. Examples of her clients include McDonald’s, Microsoft, PWC, Samsung, Toyota, and Walmart.

Adrienne graduated with honors from American University with a dual bachelor’s degree in psychology and law and society.
