Melissa leads the firm’s accounting operations and financial reporting and drives processes that support accurate, timely decision-making. With extensive experience across corporate accounting, revenue recognition, audits, and multi-entity financial management, Melissa is known for building reliable close processes, simplifying complex financial workflows, and bringing clarity and structure to fast-moving environments.

Before joining Trident, Melissa held finance leadership roles overseeing monthly close, financial statements, and cash flow planning — often while improving systems and processes to reduce manual work and increase consistency. She has led teams through high-volume accounting operations, integrated new business acquisitions, and partnered closely with external providers and auditors to keep reporting tight and on schedule. Her background spans both public and private environments, giving her a practical, hands-on perspective on what it takes to keep financial operations running smoothly while supporting growth.

Melissa has held finance and accounting leadership roles at Amazon, Discovery Communications, E*TRADE Financial, and Deloitte. She earned her B.B.A. in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Howard University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
